ABOUT THE TEACHER
PROFESSIONAL BIO
Violist and conductor Ryan Villahermosa has performed in California, Washington, Hawaii, and the United Kingdom and strives to expand the boundaries of classical music. He studied viola performance at the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music, where he won the Concerto Competition, and led rehearsals and sectionals for the Central Valley Youth Symphony. He continued his studies in viola and conducting at Central Washington University. There, he served as Assistant Conductor of the Central Washington University Symphony and the Wenatchee Valley Symphony, where he conducted Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker with the Fabulous Feet Dance Studio. Now based in Nevada, Ryan strives to enrich the lives of the students through a deeper understanding of music.
